Silt Curtains

Silt (turbidity) curtains provide sedimentation protection for a watercourse from land disturbance, nearby construction or dredging. Placed in a body of water, they minimize sediment transport of a disturbed area by closing off the area of work. Silt curtains have a sewn sleeve along the top edge (used to contain the flotation device) and sewn sleeve along the bottom edge as to contain the ballast (anchor).

Manufactured from a high strength woven geotextile, silt curtains are fabricated to a variety of sizes made to fit your specific application.
